GRANT APPLICATION

The Guardian Trust Foundation is committed to a thoughtful and transparent grant application process. We review each application with care, focusing on alignment with our mission and the potential for meaningful community impact.

THE PROCESS

  1. SUBMIT AN APPLICATION: Organizations complete the online application and provide the required supporting materials.

  2. INITIAL REVIEW:‍ ‍Applications are reviewed to ensure alignment with the Foundation’s funding priorities and eligibility criteria. We will contact you for an initial interview.

  3. BOARD EVALUATION: Qualified applications are presented to the Foundation’s Board of Directors for consideration at scheduled meetings.

  4. FUNDING DECISION: Organizations are notified following the Board’s review. Due to the volume of requests, not all applications will be funded.

  5. ONGOING IMPACT: We value the work of our partner organizations and appreciate updates on the impact of funded programs and services.

WHAT WE FUND:

We typically fund organizations that:

  • Provide direct services to individuals in need

  • Support individuals with disabilities through care, advocacy, or access to resources

  • Serve underserved or underprivileged populations

  • Demonstrate measurable impact and responsible use of funds

  • Address critical needs such as healthcare, housing, education, counseling, or daily living support


WHAT WE DO NOT FUND:

To ensure we remain focused on our mission and maximize impact, the Guardian Trust Foundation does not typically fund the following:

  • Individuals or direct financial assistance to individuals

  • For profit businesses or ventures

  • Organizations that do not align with our mission

  • Political organizations or campaigns

  • Organizations without demonstrated financial accountability or transparency
